AI cleanup
Ramble in. Clean text out.
Nobody speaks in finished sentences. Cleanup takes the way you actually talk, with the false starts and the hedging, and lands the version you would have written if you had the time. It runs on your Mac with a local model, or on your own provider key if you want a bigger one.
What it does, before anyone explains it
A message to a colleague
“um so like i was thinking maybe we could uh push the launch to next week if that works for everyone i guess”
Let’s push the launch to next week if that works for everyone.
A bug report
“okay so the thing is when you click save it like doesn’t save it just sort of spins and then nothing happens and you have to reload”
When you click Save, nothing is saved. The spinner runs, then the page has to be reloaded.
A note to yourself
“remind me to uh call the accountant about the vat thing before friday i think it was friday yeah friday”
Call the accountant about VAT before Friday.
Two lanes, and what each one costs
A local model
FreeCleanup runs on your Mac alongside transcription. Nothing is uploaded, no key is needed, and it works with no connection.
Your own provider key
You pay the providerPoint Sayframe at your own key when you want a larger model. Sayframe adds no markup and takes no cut. The text you clean up goes to that provider under their terms, which is worth knowing before you paste a key in.
Roadmap
Free locally or with your own key today. A budgeted hosted option is on the roadmap.
Cleanup is per mode, because writing is not one thing
The same paragraph should not come out the same way in Mail and in a terminal. Each mode carries its own prompt, and you pick which app gets which.
Full sentences, a greeting and a sign-off, and none of the spoken hedging.
Notes
Terse, fragmentary, keeps your shorthand instead of inflating it into prose.
Code (a custom mode)
Not built in, but free to create: a mode that leaves identifiers and symbols alone, so a variable name does not get rewritten into English.
Chat
Short and casual, punctuation tidied, tone left as yours.
When another app is the better buy
If you want hosted cleanup with nothing to configure and no key to manage, Wispr Flow makes it the centre of the product, and Spokenly ships hosted text processing in its Pro plan today. Sayframe does not, and saying otherwise would be selling a roadmap. What Sayframe gives you instead is cleanup that costs nothing on a local model, and no margin taken on your own key.
